Vegas trouble

I'm trying to render a quick 23 sec clip and I end up with a file where the action moves, then pauses, then moves again throughout the clip

I am renering to wmv and I used to get a smooth clip but something must have changed. I Have tried changing the render template a bunch of differant ways. Anyone have any suggestions?

When I right click on the properties in the timeline it says my clip is:
1920x1080x24
Pixle aspect 1.0000square

One thing is I don't have an option for 24 fps in the template window, the nearest I have is 23.976 (IVTC Film) but I'm sure that is what I should select right?

also it says seconds per keyframe as 3
mode Quality VBR

Try exporting like this instead:
http://eugenia.gnomefiles.org/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/

Regarding 24p exporting: 23.976 fps is the right fps if you shot in PF24 and you removed pulldown. If you didn't remove pulldown, then you still need to export at 29.97 or 60i. Look this up for more.

As for the chopiness, it might be because your PC is not fast enough to playback 1080p video. So, try my export above first and make sure you look up the 24p business.

sorry to bother you but i'm a little unclear after reading. I DID remove the pulldow so which template should I select and what adjustments should I make if any to that template?

If you removed pulldown, export as the way I linked you above, but with 23.976 fps.
