Hello all, well i am planing to buy adobe creative suit 4 production pre.But its realy realy realy expensive in my country i guess the cause of tax.I dont know.
it is 5.680 TL and that is 3.5xx Dolar. While i can find the CS4 pack for 1.500 on ebay why should i give 5.680?Well i cant pay 5.680 anyway since i am a student.I called adobe Turkey to ask their student pack priceses, they took my number but never called back so nice service quality on that one.

The thing i wanna ask is,i seen 'not to be sold in europe' stickers on ebay,on the packs sold in north america.Wich got me thinkin is there a region lock or is it just to scare people? :P I'm in Europe btw.

There is a dude on ebay saying his pack is not academic pack ,nor a upgrade.Real deal like on store. He's selling it for 1.5xx.Is there a way for me to double check?

TRY THIS WEB PAGE BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING.

http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/

If your looking to buy just premeire pro cs4 it will be cheaper than buying the full suite.

Buy this with a credit card if you can to make sure you get the proper exchange rate.

Well i need premeire pro cs4 and the after effects so its better to buy the whole pack.

So there is no region lock?Because its cheaper to buy in usa.Either on adobe site or ebay. But i'll use the software in europe.

As to a "region lock", Adobe is pretty careful about these kinds of things and their software may not activate certain serial numbers from IP addresses that are outside the region of origin. You'd really have to email Adobe customer support to find out for sure. I'd bet they would enjoy answering that question.:hv20-smilie02:

As to buying the whole suite, vs. just Premiere and After Effects, other than Photoshop, the rest of the Production Suite is far less useful than Premiere and AE. The major advantage in buying the suite is that future upgrades are more cost-effective than upgrading individual programs. The other thing that you could try is to buy a license on eBay for older Adobe products and then upgrade them to CS4. Be careful, since there are some dishonest people out there on eBay. The honest ones will send you a valid Adobe license transfer form, which you then email to Adobe to assume ownership of the license. Then you can buy the CS4 upgrade(s).

Here's the cheapest price (http://store.purplus.net/adprprcs4.html) from a reputable online seller, that I've seen for the full (not upgrade) CS4 Production Suite. You'd have to email Purplus and ask them if they can ship to your country.

Thank you for the answers.I am not planing to give twice as much money on the same product just because adobe is whatever this and that.I'll simply pass Adobe then.

Going to mail adobe about it.Lets see what they are going to say.

Thank you again.I'll update my message once i get the answers from adobe.

And one more hint: you can buy a download version from Adobe USA directly. No need to wait for DVD delivery. But activation issue still needs to be resolved.
