Vegas 8 control possible but no image visible

Hey all, connected the HV20 to my PC via firewire connection.
When starting capture i can control the camera via Vegas but i can see no preview in the window.
Also tried WMM (vista) capature visible and control also but the program crashes when saving.

Any idears here? my configuration:
Pentium 4 on a asus P4P800 mb
1024Mb of RAM
Plenty of space on HD (1TB)
ATI 256Mb graphic card.
Firewire board: pinnacle 400 something.

Hi,

Did you manage to fix the problem? I'm having the same exact problem on my PC (works fine on my laptop, which surprisingly is lower spec'd!).

Specs are almost identical to yours except that I'm using a Asus P4C800-e deluxe mobo.
