A few weeks ago, on www.bestpricecameras.com, I saw the HV20 on sale for $460 and was amazed. I called them up and asked them if there was a specific reason why the price was so low and they said "they buy quantity." But as of today, I checked the website again and the price has gone up to $589. I was still thinking about buying it on this site. What do you guys think? Should I trust the website?

I sometimes feel like the people who are familiar with the "If it's too good to be true, then it's probably too good to be true." are few and far between.
Common sense people! Haha.

I guy named John Ruskin ones stated, that "There is hardly anything on this world that anyone can not produce worse and sell cheaper. And those people, who are oriented on price only, are a certain target for those manufacturers. It is not smart to pay to much, but it is even worse to pay to little. When you pay to much, you only lose some money. That is all. When, on the other hand you pay to little, you might loose all, as the bought item might not fullfill your expectations. The law of business forbids you to acchieve much for little money. If you go for the lowest price, than you must preserve some cash for the risk that you take. And when you do so, you also have enough to buy something better."
But this John Ruskin, an English painter, an Oxford professor and a social philosofer, lived from 1819 till 1900.
How did he know our times so well?

That company has a very bad reputation for illegal bait and switch tactics, selling items not in stock without warning the buyer, etc.
Be forwarned. Read the posts in the link provided by Ten Ounce. I was going to purchase a Canon XH A1 for about 200 shells more than the HV20, but after reading all of the terrible reviews, I knew I'd never see the item I wanted for that price.
