This video is one long take of an air ambulance helicopter landing on a hospital heliport and then taking off again. Unfortunately it is hand-held. If your computer is not set-up to play H.264/Vorbis/MKV files, then the quickest option is to download mplayer, put the mplayer.exe on the desktop and drag'n'drop the file to it. No external codecs etc. are necessary then. (Edit: Alternatively you can use VLC)

The vlc doesn`t play it too cursive and it showed some artifacts compression. Anyway, good test.
You filmed with zoom ?

What do you mean by "cursive"? And where do you see compression artifacts? I have watched it on my 21" CRT and haven't seen any obvious artifacting (which doesn't mean it isn't there).

The entire shot is taken at maximum zoom.

There are some frames that freezes some seconds and then, when the movie continue to play, artifacts appear, for a second or so. But I don`t know, maybe it`s becouse of my sistem.
For a maximum zoom and hand helded it looks very decent to watch.

Momentary freezing usually happens on underpowered systems (my 3 GHz Pentium M notebook falls into that category, too). Decoding H.264 is very resource intensive.

I was going back and forth from work laptop to home power system and picked up on the massive difference it makes.
