I've had my HV20 for a week now and am still amazed at the quality of this camera. For my first mini-project I went to where I work at the Florida Dept of Transportation. Right next to the busy turnpike interchange there is a lake teeming with wildlife.....iguanas, egrets, turtles, snakes, etc. I hate it when I watch nature shows and alligators, or any other predator for that matter, attacks another animal. I was crouching down by the water filming an iguana when I noticed a set of eyes underwater about 3 feet from me. It was a 6 foot long alligator. As he surfaced and came towards me the only thing I could think of was "is my focus right?" "Is it over exposed?" "is my framing good?" "wouldn't it be cool if he went for the iguana...that would be a great shot" What is wrong with me? LOL. Guess I need to put things into a better perspective..............

The footage is part of a 5 minute "short" about the lake and the wildlife that people drive by every day on the turnpike and never notice. I'll post my "mini-documentary" when I finish editing. It came out great tho! If I can find a way to convert footage from iMovie to the web without it looking like crap :/ Somebody said iMovie '06 is better because you can choose your quality settings. The version I have now lets you, but full quality for even 2 or 3 minutes comes to almost 2 Gig. Anything less comes out like crap.

Does your company has open jobs standing???:hv20-smilie81:

Were I live, in The Netherlands, the most exiting animal we can see in the 'wild' would be a big frog or maybe when you're real lucky, a very tiny lizard!...

But yes I would also LOVE to see your mini-docu too!:hv20-smilie77:
