What is the default setting for the audio gain ? I can't seem to get it right after I acidentally messed with it. I can't find it in the manual.

It seems that even in decent light the camera is always gained up. I was taking some video of my cat in AV mode at 2.8 and it was pretty bright and it had extreme gain. I clicked the exposure and hade to click a -4 clicks before it want away. Does it automaticly add gain at F2.8 or lower ?

How do you use zebras? Are you supposed to make them dissapear ?

This camera behaves alot differently than my sony cams which will take some learning but the picture quality is awesome.

Any input would be great.

Seems like the index in the English translation refers to pages 41 and 60 for audio settings.

I've been doing some field testing and it does seem that the video comes in too bright. I was thinking as a general rule in sunny conditions that in Tv mode I'd probably end up shooting with anywhere from between -2 to -4.

Just today I made some tests and will view them tonight.

I plan to take some preliminary exposure shots to make sure I have it just right whenever I can.

There is a video available but I cannot remember its name or where to get it. It was mentioned in this forum with a link. One of the scenes is through a window of a maternity ward set up using baby dolls. I'm sure many here know of it.

Much of the video seems like the exposure is off. But there is one shot that looks really really good. I believe it is of some redish brick buildings and a man is crossing the street pushing a cart?

Anyway, you can really see what great shots this camera is capable of making with that one shot is you do it right!
