Caught this great band at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida last week. They are called Orange Avenue and they are from Orlando. Shot with my HV20. Video (http://hv20.info/yopu/oamp4.mp4)

Thanks,

Scott

Yes the band is pretty good, with good bass player but needs to lose the head gear (bike helmet ?). You'd think they might get a bit sick of playing the same venue day after day for 6 months (according to their Myspace gig listings).

The video has a "soft" look to it, did you record in Cine Mode ?

The sound has recorded well considering your position to the stage. Anything special for the audio recording ? External mic, manual sound level control ?

Cheers !

You would think they would, but there are lots of beautiful women always walking and stopping by to watch them. It is at the entrance to 2 theme parks and numerous Bars/ nightclubs. The Bass player wears a bike helmet for some reason. He had a shaved head I think.

The sound was directly from the on board mic.
The video was not in Cine Mode. I think my editing and compression softened it some.

Thanks for looking,

Scott

Hi Scott,
many thanks for the info. I have recorded some music with the on-board mic and it sounds quite good. The sound levels from a band are usually high enough to swamp any HV20 motor noise.
