I was lucky enough to have a friend that was visiting the US for a couple of weeks, so i set out to find where to buy a HV20E (the PAL model). After a lot of research i found that the best (almost only) place to buy it was B&H. So I ordered the HV20, a set of tiffen filters, a lowepro rezo 120 aw bag and the unavoidable spare battery. The process of ordering from abroad resulted trickier than I would have expected, i had to talk on the phone with their sales department, I even had to send them an email with a picture of my credit card top/bottom...which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
The package arrived timely (ordered next day shipping, as i could not afford it arriving late, my friend could have left by that time). Just after they sent the package, i received an email stating that the filter kit was out of stock (i'm almost sure it was listed as in stock when i checked out), so that was left out of the order. Quite a pity, a week afterwards i found they had a similar kit from Hoya, it would have been cool if they had asked whether i would like it instead of the Tiffen one...
Everything arrived in perfect state.
Overall good, if a bit stressing, buying experience. Next time i'll know how to approach them...
