I finally pulled the trigger to buy the XH-A1 from buydig.com for $3399.

Like a new car, the XH-A1 smells really good :)... It's a bit heavier than the GL2. It looks really PRO. That's one thing I like about. There're so many controls and buttons on the left side which is good.

For the first time, I have to read through the manual to try to understand the features. Anyway, I will post some photo and review later.

ha! just kidding, excellent buy Taky, congrats! :hv20-smilie77:
Can't wait to see some exact comparison footage between the XHA1 and the Hv20. Also tell us which features you love about the A1 that's missing on the HV20, and where the A1 falls short.

One day when I upgrade, I want to be as informed as possible.

Please don't revoke my membership :-)

I'm not ditching the HV20. I'm using both cams in event shooting. Mostly operating the XHA1 and leaving HV20 in wide angle on tripod as B-Roll. Basically the XH-A1 and HV20 replaces both of the GL2.

I will sure upload some clips later.
