Fed-Up! So maybe I'll just write my own 24P coversion software.
I once wrote a program that could access any bit within a .BMP image and manipulate a single bit anyway I wanted to.
I just looked up the .BMP specification on the Internet and wrote a program to access the data within any bitmap image file.
So watch out all your money grubbers. I'll start by looking up the HDV FP24 specification. I'll take it from there and see what I can do.
Some of you have offered a speculation as to why Canon and or Adobe just don't have a suitable reverse pulldown plugin for the HV20 FP24 format.
It's all about money: of course. Someone is making money off of this snafu. I think it's never about the customer and it's always about MONEY.
