Ok so I just ordered my hv20 and I'm building a new pc

so far I'm going for
Q6600
8800 Ultra, maybe gtx and upgrade to something newer when 92 comes out
4Gb of ram
and the rest of the crap...
I'll stick with 2gb with xp and eventually upgrade to vista, around fall...
I'll be using Vegas for video editing to begin with, I've used it in the past but might upgrade....

But I'm not sure about the monitor, I currently have 22" acer, and want to upgrade to something bigger with HDMI, nice time reponse becouse I'll do some gaming on it, price wise up to $600-700, but if its logical to add extra 100 and go for something better I'm fine with that.

there are a lot of 24" but a lot of them have trouble scaling 1:1 when going with 1080...

Might be in your interest to get a HDMI card that plugs into your PCI slot. Will cost you less, and you don't risk buying a dodgy monitor that doesnt meet your requirments. Just my 2c. Cheers.

Those 2c probably saved me couple $100... I'll do some researching on that, just received my hv20, reading the manual while the battery charges, hopefully my A64 +3200 will hold for another week :)
