First Footage

Ok, the deed is done after months of painful agonizing. Bought the HV20, shot some test footage, uploaded to my Mac, edited with FCE, exported using QT Conversion. Thanks for the board's advice. I shot in both 1080 60i and 24p (although not Cine mode; hadn't figured that out yet). I deinterlaced the 1080 60i and slowed it to 40%. I bought a step ring (43mm to 52mm) and used a 52mm thread wide angle lens that I bought years ago and had been using on my SD miniDV.

Max, that was awesome, I just wished it was longer! Rudy is a beautiful (and very photogenic) dog.
