I'm addicted to Shorty's Black Magic, a brand of skateboard grip tape. The stuff is on practically every gadget I own, pocket knives and yes, some handguns.

Here I used a leather hole-punch to cut disks of it which I applied to my HV20 for better gripability. On the bottom, I applied a patch with 'Flame' pattern edge to help me grip the bottom of the camera. Obviously, My HV20 is 'plain vanilla' now, but I plan to trick it out soon. Just getting the hang of it just now.:hv20-smilie77:

Interesting idea. I feel this would scuff up my camera bag with all its nice and soft internal-sidings when rubbing with such an intense grip tape. Looks good though.

Only place where grip tape has indeed scuffed anything up has been when applied to pocket knife and inserted into denim jeans pocket. The in and out definitely wears the pocket edge down. Otherwise in 5 yrars of doing this to all my digicams, mobile phones etc, nope- no luggage wear at all.YMMV:hv20-smilie77:
