Selling my HV20. This is the camera I shot this popular video with:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACVZp-UMD0Y

It's scratched up cosmetically, but works great. Always used the same tape stock, and just cleaned the heads. Asking only $400 (price reduced from $500)
Includes original accessories, box, and manual.

No more than 15 hours on the heads (playback AND recording)

For the newbies this video is the HV20 poster child. It has sold tons of HV20's and is a fine example of what is possible with this camera. I need the 30P on the HV30 else I would have bought this one..

Solomon is the reason I purchased my HV20, too. His HV20 is definitely a collection item. Canon should give an award to Solomon.

And for $400 it's very cheap. How many hours do you estimate on the heads, Solomon?

Solomon, you are legendary. Rainy Day is also the reason I bought my HV20. Canon should cut you a commission check.:)

Ahh, I would've bought this one instantly if I hadn't already ordered one off eBay last week (for which I paid way more than 400$) :(

Would you be willing to ship to Canada? Also, yeah, how many hours on the heads?

So why are you selling your hv20? Upgrading? Btw it was your video that I showed to my friends to show the performance of the camera.

My Vimeo Comment:
Like everyone said...good job....especially for doing it in 48 hours. The colors look nice and the special effects were done well. I thought the female actress did a great job. Heck...I can't do anything like this in 48 days much less 48 hours... Good luck with that shoot in England. Once again I think you have inspired a great deal of folks with your work...keep it up... I think you and Ayz Waraich are top notch in terms of how you manifest your vision with the tools at hand. Especially being that it's a consumer camera.
