Here goes:

Just set up my rig! 8' Tower with Canon GL2 set to interval mode (automatically takes 2 seconds of video every minute)

Pointed at my house: (before pictutre)

I have the GL2 mounted on a 8' Tower:

I'll be posting some Vimeo Footage once a week so my family around the country can see the progress: the below link is shingles going on shop: 4.5 hour period but with interval timing it was about 7minutes of video sped up 1000% in FCE 4 (55 seconds)

the orange box is a battery backup that the camera is running off of in case they pull the plug while working/fixing and have to shut off the house power. The remodel should take about a month and a half so the final time lapse should be pretty sweet!!

Thanks for looking in!!

CHEERS!

I was getting ready to sell the GL2 until I came up with this idea... I just got the HV30 and very disappointed that our HV30s don't have "interval" timed recording... seems like it is a great "option" to have on these cameras..... i know there are programs that will take every 600th frame etc... but it sure is nice to have the option right on the camera and it makes editing the footage a breeze!!

so kept the GL2 and putting it to good use!!.. should be pretty sweet when It's done (footage)......
