Just wondering if anyone has this and what the opinions are. I am getting ready to buy it and want to know if it gives total support to your DIY 35mm devices. Thanks!

Bogen and Manfrotto are owned by the same company, so you may find that there are a few here using the Manfrotto equivalent, the 293.

I think its probably the most compact solution you can buy, its also very sturdy.

I do have one. I bought it for photographic use, though (to support Carl Zeiss Sonnar 2,8/200 lens). I find it bit awkward to use, but I think it might work for your purposes, though it surely isn't optimal solution.

Well, in fact, my item is for sale... anyone? ;-)

Would €40 would be fair price? I'd prefer sending within EU, so that postage isn't that high, there's no trouble with customs and the buyer could wire me the money (no PayPal). Also be advised that postage is something between €10-20. If still interested, PM me.

The item hasn't seen much use, so not substantially worn (I think it's in like new condition, but I don't have it here, so I cannot check it). I still have the original box, if that matters.
