I have here on old external microphone from the year 1990. It's an vivitar TVM-1. It was never been used.

I connected the microphone into the mic input from the HV20 and it seems to been working.

But when I playback it on my computer I have only sound through the left channel :hv20-smilie51: Not both channels...

I really don't know if it's possible? Maybe I have to change the settings from the HV20?

I received the HV20 yesterday and still have to learn the settings...

Take your NLE (Non Linear Editor, Vegas, Pinnacle, whatever) and COPY the left channel to the right channel. It's a mono mic so it only records on the Left channel.

In Premiere, the audio effect is called "Fill Left" or "Fill Right"

I can copy the left channel to the right channel. It worked. I use the trial of ulead videostudio 11 and I saved the audio. In sound forge I copied the left to the right channel. :hv20-smilie77:

So: A mono micro only records at the left channel?? It's not pissible to have sound on both channels while recording with the HV20?? :hv20-smilie122:

A mono-miniplug to stereo-miniplug adaptor should do the trick. This will split your mono signal into two identical left and right signals to feed your stereo-in jack on the HV20.
