Vegas 8 in the UK

1. When?
2. Will the USA version work with all the 24p if I buy it from there?
3. Does it have a DVD menu system like Pinnacle

Any help to make the move to Vegas would be appreciated.

Probably the end of the year. vegas comes with another package, Architect, for DVD Authoring.

So Vegas does the CUTs etc.... Then the other product does then menu's. Ching Ching... Sounds Expensive :)

It's not overly expensive.The upgrade price is generally attractive.

Alternatively, buy the Movie Studio version. It lacks some bells and whistles, but it will do the editing and the authoring. Sony throws in other goodies too.
