HV30 Aquisition

Hi,my name is Alex.

I am looking forward to get a Canon HV30 camera with some accessories i saw on the forum.I spent a day surfing on this forum and what i saw...just amazing.Couldn't believe you can do that with a consumer camera.

I now own a Panasonic NV-MX500 MiniDV camera.I've been working for too long on this standard and i want to upgrade to HD,also i want better image quality.I want to use the camera at events like weddings but also on filming.I want to do something professional but i can't afford spending so much money on a really prosumer camera.

So i want some recommendations.

I want to get a conversion lens(i assume i need a step up ring too?),a hood,a professional microphone,extra battery packs(these i'll use on the weddings i'm shooting)

Also,i want to get a 35 mm adapter for professional filming.

Please tell me what do i need,every piece besides the camera.

I am from Romania and don't really know where to find all these accessories.I'd like to hear a overall price of these things.

Is the Sony ECM-MS908C better than Rode Videomic? I saw some video tests and the Sony mic sounded best.

I also want to ask you for what i can use headphones when shooting.What is the benefit of using headphones?

Being a newbie has nothing to do with asking questions but more to do with helping yourself to the vast knowledge base of information contained herein at HV20, or any forum for that matter.

I suggest you invest some quality time by first doing a search for your answers rather than just expecting us to shower you with our hard earned knowledge and experience, especially about subjects and questions that have been answered hundreds, nay, thousands of times before and would easily come up in a simple search.

If after reasonable effort on your part some of the answers still aren't there, THEN ask other forum members for their time and help.
