To anyone who can help.
I have the HV30. As you know it has 10x zoom.
I also have a Raynox 2.2x lens that I can fit to the camera, that basically doubles the zoom.
The image is quite clear focused & this set up works well.
I also have another telephoto lens (4x) that I bought from the US.
This doesnt give good results at all & I note that the aperture at the rear of the lens is quite small compared to the Raynox. perhaps this is not a good quality lens to start with??
Is 2.2 about the best I can go with this, or if i got a better quality lens could I piggy back that onto the Raynox, thereby increasing the zoom of the Raynox which is in turn attached to the camera.
is this possible or does it simply not work like this??
cheers
