So I just bought an HV30, a Beachtek, a Rode NTG-2 and a Letus Extreme lenses and rails.

Now, all I need is a monitor.

What do you guys think about this one?

It's super cheap, mounts on the camera and has a battery pack.

I can't afford one of those $1000+ models. And this one seems like it could help while focusing.

Just looking for some opinions...

Also, keep in mind I'm looking to make B&W films that look more like an Ulmer movie (not anything super perfect and slick like Michael Bay).

Not for focusing, Resolution: 1400x234 pixels / 480x240 lines. It's fine if you want it for composition or just a bigger LCD. Your best bet is to build (http://www.hv20.com/showthread.php?t=3448) one if you want a true HD monitor. Unfortunately, there's no other cheaper options than that right now.
