Here is some footage I took of our towns fireworks.
http://hv20.info/yopu/fireworks.mov I am still struggling with how to best export for web. I would like good quality with small file size. (wouldn't everyone) I used quick time and a small window. I did use fireworks mode with the focus set at infinnity. If anyone has suggestions on the best Web export I would love to here it. I was real close and could have used a wide angle adapter.

Are you on Windows or Mac?
What software are you using to edit?

In general, your frame rate for encoding is going to have a huge impact on size and quality - a higher frame-rate makes a larger file, and a smaller one makes a smaller file that's. You can usually find a middle ground where the frame-rate and aspect ratio are a good match and the file size is still small.
For the 2-3 minute videos I've posted I think it went with a 800xsomething aspect ration and a frame rate of around 2000. That made a 60MB file that looked pretty good.

Well, someone who's on Windows will need to step in and help - I'm on a Mac.

What I said about frame rate is still key, I'm just not sure what program to use to get it in the best way.
