Need suggestions for wide angle lens options

Hi, everyone. I'm getting ready to buy the HV30 and definitely need an excellent wide angle adaptor. Since the camera is black I'd like the lens to be black. I just talked to Canon and they have no plans to make one. Can anyone recommend another lens? Thanks!
