Hello, all. I just wanted to post a short film I directed and wrote this year. I'm 19 and currently studying Film & TV Production in Costa Rica, just beginning my second year.
The film was shot with a Sony DVCAM DSR-500WS and a Sennheiser 416, among other equipment, with a crew of around 8 people, shot in 10 hours in one location.
I'm sorry that there's no subtitles but the story is simple enough that there's no essential need for subtitles. It's basically a sort of vignette into a day of an old man who sits by the street and sort of sells random stuff. He meets three characters and interacts differently with each one. The pace is slow and kind of meditative, so if that's boring to you, perhaps this is not your cup of tea.
Anyways, enjoy, comment, rate, whatever.
Thanks.

(Extra: Here's another short film, the first 'serious' one I've made. I was the DoP, but it was actually a joint effort between my friend and I, and a friend of his. This one is much slower and 'floating' out there, but it was also very much so a technical experiment, improvising a steadycam and dolly. It turned out alright I suppose, but again, not everybody's cup of tea I guess. Link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=RUwDQiGtoaE)
