Can Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 join small HDV clips (mpg or m2t) into a large clip ? I mean just joining and nothing else.
If not, are there any software that can do the job ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jusko
When you say ''join clips together'' do you mean adding two clips into one? or simply adding a clip right after a previous one????
Dont quite understand

Hi johnrbarnes1990, I am sorry I didn't make my question more clearly in the first place.
I mean adding many clips into a big one. I used to using Movie Joiner to join such as avi, mpg etc. But it doesn't support HDV.
Appreciate you answer.

jusko,
Of course you can use Premiere to join several m2t clips together. However, when you export to the final .m2t, PPro will re-render each frame to produce the output thus lossing one generation of image quality.
I use another program called Womble MPEG Wizard which allows you to trim and join clips with direct stream export.

Yes, as Taky said. There is no doubt in my mind that Premiere Pro will be able to support HDV imports :D

Thank you Taky. Yes, I don't want to re-render the clips when joining them.
I will look at the program Womble MPEG and have a try on it.
And also thank you johnrbarnes1990 for your reply.
Best Regards
