HF10 questions

I have been reading the forums here and have learned a lot about my hv20 (like when to use spotlight mode, how to remove pulldown, etc). Thanks for all your expertise.
I saw a deal recently for an HF10 and I couldn't pass it up. I have a couple questions about this camcorder...

1) Does anyone sell generic batteries? The only batteries I see are the bp-809 and bp-819 which are both pretty expensive.
2) In 24p mode, do I have to remove pulldown like on the hv20? Or can I just import the clips right into Sony Vegas 8 and start editing? Does tmpgenc remove pulldown from avchd files?
3) What the heck is rolling shutter? Is this a problem with the hf10? I think I read that somewhere here on the forums.

Thanks for your help. I am going to test the hf10 when I receive it and then decide whether or not to keep my hv20.

Same as with the HV. You do not have to remove the pulldown on the HV either.

What the heck is rolling shutter? Is this a problem with the hf10? I think I read that somewhere here on the forums.
